Listing a garage sale

Post a sale, control when your address shows, and edit, cancel, relist or repeat it.

Start a listing

1. Create a free account (or sign in).
2. Choose List a sale in your menu.
3. Fill in the title, description, address, dates, hours and an optional phone number.
4. Save. Your sale appears on the map.

Sales run on the weekend days the site allows, for up to three days, and can be posted up to 60 days ahead. Each member can have up to 5 active sales.

Your address and privacy

You choose when your exact address becomes public: right away, the day before the sale, or at a date and time you pick. Until then, shoppers see only your city, ZIP code and an approximate map spot. The exact address is never placed in the page until the time you chose.

Edit, cancel, relist

Everything is on your Dashboard. Edit details any time. Cancel a sale if plans change; members who saved it and have alerts on are emailed. Relist a finished sale to start a new one with the same details.

Repeating sales

In the edit form, Repeat can post your sale again every week, every two weeks, or monthly on the same weekday. The next sale posts itself about two weeks ahead, carries over your available items and photos, and stops if the days are no longer allowed or the listing is gone.
