Finding sales

Use the map, filters and search to find garage sales and flea markets.

The map

Every garage sale is a green pin. Flea markets are blue pins numbered with how many vendors are listed. Tap a pin to see details, or tap a card in the list to jump to its pin.

On the home page and Find Sales, the top menu also has Garage Sales and Flea Markets to show just one kind.

Filters

Day: only sales open on a day you pick.
City or ZIP code.
Category: for example tools, toys or furniture.
Near me: sales within a distance of where you are. Your browser asks permission first, and your location is only used to sort and filter.

Searching for something specific

Type what you are hunting for, such as “nintendo” or “baby crib”. Search looks at item names, item descriptions, tags and the sale's own text, and puts the best matches first. Every word you type must match, and plurals work (“bears” finds “bear”).

Item search only finds sellers who have posted an item list. A sale with no list can still turn up through its description.

Why some addresses say “shows later”

Sellers choose when their exact address becomes public. Until then you see the city, ZIP code and an approximate spot on the map, plus the date the exact address will appear. This protects homes from early-bird visitors.
